Game Scheduled for Thursday, 10/2

We will be playing Egg Harbor Township at Veteran's Memorial Park (off of Ocean Heights Avenue), Field #5. All players please be at the field no later than 5:30pm.

Monday Practice!

We will have a practice Monday at 6PM on the national league field. We will be hitting against the pitching machine. Practice should be over by 7:15.

Tough Loss!

We lost a close one to Stafford this Saturday 4-3. A great rally in the bottom of the last inning got us close. Great Job by Nick Keller, Juan Carlos Belmonte, and Mike McManus in the last inning to help us get close. Alex, Bobby, and Matt M. all pitched great and we made just about every play in the field. Jack Marczyk was also robbed of a hit when the Stafford Center Fielder made a great running catch. Our bats are starting to come alive now so everyone should watch out!

Northfield Recap

Northfield beat us 3-1 on Thursday night. Although we lost, we made some strides at the plate. Juan Carlos, Nick Keller, and Jon Bronco all had hits and we had better at bats than we had at Linwood. Once again our pitching was excellent. Alex, Nick, Bobby, and Matt M all did a great job. We still need to get more aggressive at the plate and swing at better pitches but, all in all, it was a better game for us.

New game at Brigantine 9/25 at 6PM. Last pitch at 8:30.

We will be having a practice on Monday at 6pm at the National League field. Our focus will be hitting. Practice should be over by 7:15.

Linwood Results!

In a hard fought game, Linwood won 5-0. We did very well in the field and the pitching by Bobby, Matt, and Jake was exceptional. Nick Keller and Juan Carlos did a great job at the plate. Nick had our only true hit. Remember, this was our first game and the team we played was district champion in Little League this year. We need to get more aggressive at the plate and we are sure this will come as we see more pitching.

New Game Added!

I have added another game to the schedule. We will be playing Galloway #1 at home on 10/7 at 5:45 pm. As always, last pitch is at 8:30.

SCHEDULE CHANGE!

Saturday's game has been postponed to due to a schedule conflict and possible impending inclement weather. I have tentatively rescheduled the game to 9/18 at 5:45 PM. Last pitch is at 8:30 to get the kids home on a school night. Please let me know if this works with everyone!

Added a game with Linwood #2 at home on 10/28 at 6pm. It is a Thursday night. If anyone has any problems please let me know. I am setting an 8:30 time limit as it is a school night.
